Beauty: It's the BALM!

Ahhh the chilly autumn air, no wait, the really hot and dry air, no... back to chilly with a little wind.... Arrrggghhhh!!! Time to grab the lip balm!

Rapid weather changes are a sure fire way to dry out your pretty little pout!
You can feel it right no can't you? Lips a little tight? Go now and grab some moisturizer for your lip! HURRY!! Before you end up with some serious chapped lips!

Have no fear our dears, we bring you our choice lip balms!
(Not lip GLOSS that is another post :)

Is rumored to be the best around, and with the SPF 25 sun protection we don't doubt it.
Luxuriant and rich, and with tons of shea butter to make your lips soft as pillows. Now they say it is a men's brand... But we say our lips deserve equal rights!

If you are looking for girlie, and delicious and multi-tasking lip balm, look no further then Camilla Balm by Julie Hewette.

For lips, eyes, face and hands... This little pot o'magic takes care of it all.
Want to moisturize your lips and add a dewy glow to your eyes? Want ancient Chinese beauty secrets made in a cruelty free, organic product? We do.
We heart this balm because it is super light and not too sticky.

Tried and true! The gals of T-W-H always have at least one of these floating around their car or purse.

What is not to love about yummy, yummy Rosebud salve? It gets the job done, smells delicious and comes in the cutest retro packages and will not break your bank.

Plus you can even get the Strawberry kind! SOLD!

Remember in 1st grade when you thought you were so cool with your little tin of "lip gloss" I don't even remember who made them... But this Tarte tin is bringing me back!

But now it has SPF 15, is all natural and the flavor is not Root Beer.
You know your friends will all want one when they see you pull this little tin from your back pocket!

Speaking of old school... Way before our time, but cute and nostalgic all the way is this retro Schweppes Sparkling Pink Grapefruit lip balm by On 10 R,
We heart the vintage compact!

Another tried and true old standby is Soft Lips... Oh, Soft Lips... So close to Miss Me's heart. I keep these guys EVERYWHERE!
Car, Purse, Diaper Bag, Husbands Car, Desk Drawer.... I gotta have my Soft Lips!

And now they are ORGANIC!! Joy of joys!

This was a great gift I once received from my little sis, who is a big, big Fresh lover.  She swore I would be hooked and I am. Fresh Sugar Rose Tint Lip Balm
It has soft traces of a lemony-sugary taste....

Light as light can be with SPF 15 and the faintest hint of color, this is the perfect I want to look pretty and healthy with no makeup, makeup.
Big heart for this one.

Ohhhhhhhhh, we saw you kisssssssing him! I wonder if you will still get teased for making out with your sweetie when you wear this Jr. High flash back...

Well, it was worth it then and it will be worth it now! writing this reminded me of these yummy flavored and stunningly packaged lip balms!
Need we say more?

Now when times get really tough, and when you got to call in the big guns... Don't reach for the Blistex (your lips can become addicted to the menthol, an ingredient that is really making your lips dryer!)

Go for something soft, yet powerful, something that has stood the test of time... Go for Elizabeth Arden's 8 hour cream!

We kid you not! Created in 1930 by Elizabeth Arden to soothe skin, Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant became an instant and overwhelming success. What made it so effective is a combination of petrolatum, a skin-soothing beta-hydroxy in one of its first cosmetic uses, and vitamin E.
Even its name came about thanks to a remarkable performance - a loyal client used it to treat her child's skinned knee and "eight hours later" the skin was all better.

Miss Me first heard about the cream while pregnant when a make-up artist friend let loose the tip that it was great to fight stretch marks! Well, I can't say if it was the 8 hour cream or if it is in the genes... But 2 babies later and no stretch marks!
But I do swear by it for super chapped lips, put a dab on before bed and by the morning.... Hello gorgeous! (Well, lets not get carried away, but at least the chapped lips are gone!)

So be prepared sweet readers... And remember, the wind is your enemy!
